Chariot function for Thoopul Desikan during Puratasi Sravanam celebrations early this year. This chariot was earlier made by the efforts of Srimath Thirukudanthai Andavan about 30 years ago. Since the upper clothes covering the chariot needed replacement Prakirtham Srimath Andavan donated funds for the new one as displayed in the photograph costing about Rs. 35000. This new upper cloth was organized during last year chariot festival itself. |
