Introduction:

Srirangam Srimath Andavan Ashramam has its branch in SriRangaraja Veedhi, Kanchipuram. This is just at a waliking distance from Sri Deva perumal Sannathi. Instead of calling as Ashramam, this can be termed as Ashramam complex itself, as it has different components.

First:

           There is a Perumal Sannathi and Sri Venugopan idol is installed there. This is the perumal Sannathi, facing an Acharyan Brindavanam. Yes , just opposite to this Sannathi, one of our famous Acharyan's Sannathi, Srimath Therazhundur Andavan's Sannathi cum Brindavanam is located there.  This Acharyan's Moolavar and also uthsavar vigrahams are installed. By the side of this uthsavar Vigraham, Uthsavar vigraham of Srimath Aakkoor Andavan also is installed here. This entire Ashramam complex was fully renovated, including the vimanams of Perumal and Acharyan and Samprokshanm was performed recently. An Aaraadakar regularly attends to the Temple and acharyan Sannathis

In Sriranagam Srimath Andavan history, Srimath Therazhundur Anadavan preferred to have his Brindavanam here, as all other poorvaachaariaars are having the same in Srirangam itself.

Second :

          Adjacent to this Ashramam and Brindavanam, we now can see a new Ashramam building,which is made as an independent outfit of Ashramam. This was built recently after demolishing an old tiled structure. Ashramam manager's office is located here, A very large spacious hall is created on the ground floor mainly with the nintention of receiving various Divyadesa Perumals, who pass through SriRangaraja veedhi, during there annual uthsvams. So far, Sri Yathokthakari Perumal, Sri Ashtabhuja Perumal and Sri Vaikunta Natha Peruma have all been received in the Ashramam complex. Efforts are being made to receive Swami Desikan and Sri Vilakkoli Perumal next. Our target is to honour all perumals, who pass through our Ashramam everytime, including Sri Deva Perumal.

Third :

         Ashramam's Veda Patasalai is also located in the first floor of the new building. Ashramam has a Patasalai teacher, who is keen to develop this into a fullfledged Patasalai. Having got a permanent building with facilities, efforts will be made to activate this in future. This is intended to coach mainly Vadakalai Desika Sampradya young boys into Vedic Studies.If brahmachari young boys can be attracted to join, it will be a good beginning. We have to wait and see.

Fourth :

           Sri Paduka Kalyana Mandapam is the Ashramam's Marriage Hall, located in the same complex. A large spacious area and recently false ceiling has been provided for the entire area. Those who want to do marriage and other subha muhurthams in the traditional way are accepted. Flooring is coneventional cement flooring, Kitchen is using firewoods, there are no table & chairs for serving food. Consequently the day rent is kept very low, so that even lower middle class people can afford to use this.

Fifth :

           Thadheeyaaraadanams during Vaikasi Brahmothsavam as well as every Acharyan Tirunakshatrams and every Dwadasi days are performed and several visiting devotees are getting benefitted.

Sixth :

            Facilities are available for performing Shraadhdhams as well as Apara karyamas. This is the only place in Kanchipuram providing such facilities. Being a kshetram, many outstation devotees are also making use of this facility.
