Dear Devotees,
We, the Sishyas of Srimath Andavan Ashramam and Astikas in Bangalore
are blessed to celebrate the 13th Chaturmasya Sankalpam of Srimath
Andavan (Srimushnam) Sri Ranga Ramanuja Maha Desikan in our midst from 21st
July to 21st September 2002 at Sri Venkateshwara Sannidhi, Srimath Andavan
Ashram, Sripuram, Bangalore.
It is a well known fact that Srimath Andavan Ashram is in the lineage of
Munitraya Sampradayam of our Srivaishnava tradition which traces its origin
to time immemorial in Vedic Periods. Out Ashram has an unbroken chain
of Yatis who have adorned this Acharya Peetam for the last 400 years. The
Current Acharyan Srimushnam Srimath Andavan has assumed this Glorious role
in 1989 and has been involved in propagating the philosophy, percepts and
practices in its pristine form by his continuous Sancharams throughout the
length and breadth of our country. Our Ashram has various branches
in the important pilgrim centers and Metros in India and abroad. These
branches are involved in Srivaishnava Sampradaya activities and Educational
Services.
It is indeed a great blessing for all of us in Bangalore that Srimath Andavan
swamy has considered our request and agreed to be in our midst for His 13th
Chaturmasya Sankalpam during which all of us are fortunate to Serve our Acharyan
and take part in the various daily activities connected with the Ashram and
listen to the scintillating discourses of Swamy.
All Sishyas and abimanis of our Ashram are requested to Join us in
large numbers in celebrating this once in life time opportunity to serve
our Great Acharyan since it is very rare a True Sanyasi chooses to be in
a place for a continuous period of 2 months at a stretch and bless all of
us.
We seek the Paramanugrahams of our Acharyas and Divya Dampathis to make this
event a Grand success and request you to contribute your mite and be blessed.
